TRANSPORTATION FUNDRAISING UPDATE

Transportation Fundraising Update: $29,669 raised as of 1/29/26 toward $60,000 goal. Thank you to all who have donated! If you would like to make a donation, please see Cheryl or Denise.
The last few weeks have been really exciting, and as you can see from the graphic, our donations are growing!
The quilt raffle is going well, with several hundred tickets sold (thank you to Linda Moore, Kenny Hamman, Mary Anne Sieve, and Leo Bofenkamp for selling tickets at our stand in Hy-Vee last month)! Tickets will be available to purchase for $10 each right up until we draw two lucky winners on Friday, February 13th, right after Kenny Fry’s performance in the SDR. Thank you to everyone who has purchased, sold, and helped promote our quilt fundraiser. We appreciate your support!
Mike Woll of Mike Woll Investments offered to match up to $10,000 of the money we raise after January 13th! Thanks to a couple of large donations we received on January 29th, we feel confident that we will meet Mike’s challenge soon!
A few days ago, a resident who wishes to remain anonymous composed a letter that they delivered door to door, suggesting that each resident make a donation. We have already received some donations as a direct result of their letter!
Cheryl applied for a $21,000 grant (the amount that we had raised at the time of applying) from the Worthington Regional Health Foundation. Later this month, Cheryl and Mike Woll will meet with the board to explain our need and answer any questions they may have. The following month, the WRHF will meet and vote to decide if they are going to approve our submission.
Thank you, everyone, for your support!
